After not much (or any) socializing last year because of Covid-19, we need to get out and have some fun being together. Right? The Social Committee is planning to have one or more events each month for members to enjoy. Check the newsletter each month for information on events.
Tuesday, September 14th at 11:00 am – Healthy Living: Learn the ins and outs or making health choices in every aisle during this dietitian-led store tour, where you’re sure to discover delicious new foods along the way. Your dietitian will also show you how our Dietitian’s Choice program makes shopping for healthy food quick and easy.
Wednesday, September 15, 6:00 pm. Mediterranean Mezze – We can’t all get away to a dreamy cruise, but we can eat like it! Join Chef Jackie and Dietitian Melanie for a night of Mediterranean feasting – for the fun and health of it. Mediterranean food reminds is of bright fresh flavors and pure ingredients, plus the Mediterranean Diet has been proven as one of the most healthful styles of eating. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make an assortment of Mediterranean dishes. Our motto is “everything in moderation” so we will be pairing the food with a perfect glass of wine to really help you feel like you are sitting at the Grecian seaside.
